What began as a shared vision became a calling—one that led us to the highest peak of Manuel Antonio. From the beginning, ALTAAR was meant to be a place of connection: to nature, to presence, and to the people you choose to experience it with.

Built with intention and deep respect for Costa Rica’s land and spirit, ALTAAR invites you to slow down and reconnect—through quiet mornings with a view, meaningful conversations at sunset, grounding moments in the yoga studio, or a playful match on the pickleball court.

This place was paradise.

The house has the most gorgeous view. We saw the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises from the living room. Yes you can see both from here! Pictures do not do this place justice! Kevin and Luis are super nice and helpful, we got many tips from them and they are very responsive when we had questions.

An unforgettable experience in a truly majestic place.

We were fortunate to be the first guests since they opened up these rentals and so glad we took the chance. Luis and Kevin were so gracious and responsive! You are basically at the highest point in Manuel Antonio and what makes this place special is not only do you get the ocean view you get the huge inland mountain views as well as seeing up and down the coast. Simply breathtaking!
